Other ways to support us
Shop at over 6,000 retailers, including eBay, Argos and Marks & Spencer with easyfundraising and raise funds for Young Women’s Housing Project for free every time you shop.
How our supporters have fundraised & generously donated time, skills & gifts
- Our trustees have hosted “pizza and fizz” and “quiz nights”
- Staff teams from businesses based in Sheffield and beyond have donated funds instead of buying Easter eggs for each other, bought Christmas gifts for our young women and children and raised funds
- Individuals and staff teams have raised sponsorship for the Sheffield 10K, half marathons and cycle rides
- Local charities have donated of food and other goods such as toiletries that would otherwise go to waste
- Individuals have raised money through running a retail party’s, yoga sessions, jewellery making sessions and English language sessions
- Businesses, WI’s and local schools have chosen YWHP as their charity of the year – and raised funds by hosting activities such as cocktail making, salsa dancing, using power tools! And producing Christmas cards, craft workshops, inspirational talks, tea tasting, craft markets and producing a calendars
Local school groups have raised funds via collections and school fairs - Corporate volunteers have used their workplace “volunteering day” to help with the upkeep of our garden
- Local Charities regularly donate Christmas gifts for young women and children
- Donation of fabulously delicious children’s birthday cakes
