YWHP is a well-established, Sheffield based, charity providing trauma informed safe, supported housing, therapeutic programmes and counselling for young women and their children who have been affected by sexual abuse, domestic abuse and sexual exploitation.
We are particularly keen to recruit trustees who have “lived experience” of homelessness and mental health issues and those from minoritised communities.
Commitment Required:
Hours: minimum bi-monthly meetings (2 hours) at a town centre location.
Other: occasional extraordinary meetings as required and as agreed specific pieces of work
Agreement: 12 months +
YWHP offers a comprehensive CPD programme for all staff including our Trustees Excellent Induction to ensure you are ready to undertake your role.
