Safe accommodation
We provide supported accommodation to establish a safe and secure home, providing the crucial foundation for recovery. Several types of accommodation are available:
When clients are ready to move on, we help with resettlement and offer follow-on support to ensure they are managing their new home successfully. We also offer an outreach service if a young woman already has a safe place to live, but would benefit from our specialist therapeutic services.
Safe house
Our shared accommodation is a safe space for those with highest support needs and who would benefit from more intensive support before moving on to live independently. It is a confidential address and clients are not allowed visitors other than other professionals.
A homely environment created in collaboration with clients; staff respect that this is the clients home and are careful to not “invade” their spaces, whilst keeping an eye on their well being and safety at all times.
All our housing specialist practitioners are based at this property which is also home to staff offices.
There is a night worker and we operate a help line for emergencies. The night workers do activities such as movie nights, pamper sessions, arts, crafts and cooking.
There are four rooms available in the shared house. Clients are given the choice of soft furnishings and colours.
The communal kitchen and bathroom are modern and fully equipped. The entrance hall is homely and welcoming. We have security lights, an alarm system and CCTV around the perimeter of the building.
Supported flats and houses for single women and for those with children
Our flats and houses are fully refurbished, considering individual needs and choices.
All our properties are fully supported, with each client being allocated their individual therapeutic practitioner to provide practical help and therapeutic support.
We choose the location and type of accommodation very carefully to ensure the safety and holistic well-being of our clients and their children.
